Kosher catering available in NW Valley

Kosher catering is now available in the Northwest Valley, due to a cooperation between the Jewish Federation of Greater Phoenix, the Union Hills Country Club in Sun City West and Rabbi David Rebibo of the Greater Phoenix Vaad Hakashruth.

This may be another indication of the growing need for Jewish services in the Northwest Valley, as evident in the opening of two new congregations this past year: Chabad of the West Valley and Temple Gan Elohim, a Reform congregation.

Longtime West Valley congregations are Beth Emeth Congregation of the Sun Cities & West Valley and the Temple Beth Shalom and Jewish Community Center of the Northwest Valley.

Two events have been scheduled at the club, including The Crowning Event, sponsored by the Women's Division of the Northwest Valley on Jan. 22; and the Pacesetter's Dinner, a joint program of the Men's and Women's Division of the Northwest Valley, to be held Feb. 20. Call 602-274-1800.
