Steven Zinder, son of Shevie and David Zinder of Phoenix, received a doctorate degree in sports medicine from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville. Zinder has accepted a teaching position at UV for the upcoming year.

Martin Shultz has been named chairman of the Arizona State University Alumni Association. Shultz has served on the alumni board since 1997 and is vice president for public affairs and government relations for Pinnacle West Capital Corporation and Arizona Public Service Company in Phoenix.

Mary Ehlert has been named marketing director of Desert Caballeros Western Museum in Wickenburg. Ehlert has more than 12 years of experience in marketing and public relations and is an accredited member of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).

Alexa Lebovitz of Scottsdale has earned placement on the Dean's List at Berklee College of Music. To achieve this honor, full-time students must earn at least a 3.40/4.00 grade point average.

Jillian Schreiber of Phoenix received a bachelor of arts degree from Stern College for Women during Yeshiva University's commencement services in May. The university held their 71st commencement services at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Bud Levin of St. Louis has accepted the volunteer position of chairman of the Jewish National Fund's Major Gifts campaign. The fund-raising veteran has previously worked with the United Hebrew Congregation Capital Campaign, National United Jewish Appeal and the St. Louis Federation.

Stinson Morrison Hecker LLP will sponsor the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central and Southern Arizona's golf classic to be held Sept. 8-9 at the Troon Golf & Country Club. The event will feature local and national celebrities and will offer golf, dinner and live auctions.
