A boy, David Simon, was born Aug. 13, 2002, to Deborah Simon-Lurie and Evan Lurie of San Francisco.
Grandparents are Judy and Paul Simon of Los Altos Hills, Calif.; Arlene Lurie of Phoenix; and the late David Lurie.
Great-grandparent is Betsy Lurie of Indianapolis.
The Luries are also the parents of Madeline, 1.
