David Stocker & Karyn Sallus
Karyn Sallus and David Stocker, both of Phoenix, announce their engagement.
Parents of the couple are Sandra and Irwin Sallus of Palos Verdes Estates, Calif.; Joseph Stocker of Phoenix; and the late Ida Stocker.
The bride-to-be earned bachelor's degrees in nutrition and kinesiology from the University of Washington at Seattle, a master's degree in kinesiology from the University of California, Los Angeles and a doctorate degree in podiatry from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco.
The groom-to-be earned a bachelor's degree in music from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and a law degree from the California Western School of Law in San Diego.
An Aug. 31, 2002, wedding is planned at the Orange Trails Golf Club in California.
