Attorney Robert Feldman, a certified tax specialist, has been elected chairman of the sole practitioners/small firms section of the State Bar of Arizona.

The Phoenix Symphony has been selected as Arizona's representative in Continental Harmony, an ongoing initiative facilitated by the American Composers Forum that brings composers into communities to write music for local performers and celebrations. One community per state was selected to participate.

James Trimble, a director and shareholder with Fennemore Craig, has been appointed as a member of the Arizona State Bar's civil jury instructions committee.

The home of local interior designer Valerie Borden will be featured on six pages of the August issue of Phoenix Home and Garden magazine. The issue focuses on remodeling.

Kristine Dahlberg has been hired as the first managing director of Arizona Opera. Dahlberg will manage the company's financial, marketing, fund development and operation functions. She will be based in the company's Phoenix office.
