B'nai Mitzvah

Alex James Yukolis, son of Deborah and Neal Yukolis of Mesa, will become a bar mitzvah July 26, 2002, at Temple Beth Sholom.

Grandparents are Bernice Yukolis of Phoenix; and Jean and Merrill Ray of Livonia, Mich.

Alex attends Stapley Junior High School. His hobbies include ice hockey, skateboarding, skiing and basketball.

For his mitzvah project, Alex collected food for Paz de Christo.



Aaron Samuel Zweig, son of Linda and Todd Zweig of Mesa, became a bar mitzvah July 20, 2002, at Temple Beth Sholom.

Grandparents are Grace and David Zweig of Cave Creek; Sanford Payuk of St. Louis; and the late Charlotte Payuk.

Aaron attends Desert Ridge Junior High School. His hobbies include football, spending time at the gym and participating in the National Junior Honor Society.

For his mitzvah project, Aaron volunteered at Laurel Health Care, a nursing home in Mesa.
