People on the move

The Arizona Jewish Theatre Company has been awarded more than $12,000 in grants from the Phoenix Arts Commission for the 2003 season. The awards will help the theater fund operating costs and productions during a children's drama camp.

Board members have been selected for the Arizona Region of the American Committee for the Weizmann Institute of Science. Members are Noreen Bettigole, Joel Bettigole, Robbin Lieber-man and Norman Merlis. Irene Rosenblum has been named chairwoman of the regional board. The Weizmann Institute is located in Rehovot, Israel.

Sol Moretsky, board president at Kivel Campus of Care for 11 years, was honored at Kivel's 2002 Annual Guardian Meeting on May 19. He is replaced by E. David Metz.
