Beth El Congregation has elected new board members for 2002-2003. Officers are Herb Dreiseszun, president; Steve Nathan, executive vice president; Ann Polunsky, education vice president; Lloyd Sirkin, fund-raising vice president and ritual vice president; Allyn Kluger, house and grounds vice president; Sam Miller, youth vice president; Leah Pallin-Hill, secretary; and Irv Kozinets, treasurer. Members are Rich Cohen, Risa Mallin, Ray Perlman, Arnold Serbin and Hank Zalut.

The Hillel Jewish Student Center at Arizona State University has elected new board members for 2002-2003. Board members include Gary Grove, president; Adrianne Selbst, vice president of the annual fund-raiser; Tim Eckstein, vice president of the nominating committee and board development; Leona Pomush, vice president of accreditation; Mark Landy, treasurer; Leisah Namm, secretary; Ken Smith, immediate past president; Shelley Cohn, member at large of publicity; and Elaine Waxman, member at large.

Nathan Fidel, son of Anne and Noel Fidel of Phoenix, recently graduated from Dartmouth College with a bachelor's degree in English.

The Heard Museum was awarded a $200,000 grant from the Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust to streng-then the museum's initiative to draw more local residents and families with children on a year-round basis. The grant was one of five given by the Scottsdale-based foundation.

Jon Kichen, a 22-year veteran of the real estate industry, has joined West USA Realty as vice president, director of career development. The company is located in Scottsdale.
