Jill Ann Goldfarb, daughter of Joan and David Goldfarb of Scottsdale, recently received a degree in medicine from the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Denver.

Francine Jackson was recognized with the volunteer recognition award given by Peoria Unified School District in April. Jackson, who is a member of Temple Gan Elohim, volunteered for Frontier Elementary and is an arts education department volunteer.

Peter Willner will become executive vice president of The American Friends of the Hebrew University (AFHU) on July 8. Willner will lead the nationwide staff dedicated to providing financial support and increasing awareness of the University and its work. He will be based in New York City.

Sue Tormala has been named managing director of Phoenix Theatre, Arizona's oldest arts organization. Previously, Tormala worked with the Arizona Theatre Company and launched Tormala Group, a consulting business that worked with various arts organizations.
