Obituaries

Thelma Goldberg

Thelma Goldberg of Scottsdale died June 9, 2002. She was 76. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to Arizona in 1986. She was a retired registered nurse. She was a member of ORT and the Jewish War Veteran's Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband, Herman; daughter, Amy Driscoll of Scottsdale; son, Steven of Fountain Hills; brothers, Sidney Greene and Benjamin Greene, both of New York City; and four grandchildren.

Services were held at Beth Israel Cemetery. Arrangements were by Sinai Mortuary. Contributions are suggested to Council for Jews with Special Needs, 32 W. Coolidge St., #102, Phoenix 85013-2773.



Molly (Schwartz) Levitz

Molly (Schwartz) Levitz, 90, died in Philadelphia on June 10, 2002. She was predeceased by her husband Morris, three sisters, and a brother.

Survivors include her two daughters and sons-in-law, Trudee and Dick Ely of Phoenix, and Barbara and David Stein of Philadelphia; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services were held in Philadelphia. Contributions in her memory are requested to the Lauren Canter Scholarship Fund at Temple Chai, 4645 E. Marilyn Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85032.
