People on the moveMarc Eric Zeitzer, son of Evelyn and Leon Zeitzer of Phoenix, recently graduated from the University of Arizona School of Medicine. Zeitzer will begin his residency in emergency medicine at the Thomas Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia. Mindy Zeitzer, daughter of Pat and Gary Friedlander of Phoenix, graduated from the UA Nursing School last year and will join her husband in Philadelphia as a trauma nurse at Hahnemann Medical School.The Arizona Diamondbacks picked 17-year-old left-hand pitcher Mark Rosen in the fifth round June 4. Rosen, a native of Massachusetts, achieved a perfect record for two consecutive seasons at Salisbury Preparatory School in Connecticut and led his team, as captain, to the team's second consecutive Connatonic Baseball League Championship with a 16-1 record. In addition, he was recently named the 2001-2002 Gatorade Connecticut High School Baseball Player of the Year. Patricia Kennedy has been named Western Regional Manager of Theater League, a nonprofit producing and presenting company and the resident theater company at the Orpheum Theatre in Phoenix. Kennedy has returned to Phoenix after serving as the company's general manager in Kansas City. American West Airlines has named Scott Bowers, Kenneth Feldman and Randy Richards vice presidents of the corporation. Bowers, a 16-year veteran of the airline, is vice president for revenue management. Feldman, who has been with the airline since 1996, was promoted to vice president of marketing. Richards, who has more than 10 years of experience with services businesses, is vice president for cargo. Lillian Howard, presently the director of languages, humanities, curriculum development and student activities at the Jess Schwartz Jewish Community High School, has accepted the position of head of school for the Shoshana S. Cardin Jewish Community High School in Baltimore. Howard has 15 years of experience in the field of education and served as academic dean for the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth summer school at Stanford University. |
