Analisa Rebecca Siegel, daughter of Barbara and Robert Siegel of Scottsdale, will become a bat mitzvah June 8, 2002, at Temple Solel.

Grandparents are; Marie and Leonard Siegel of Milwaukee; and Arline and Lawrence Barker of Foster City, Calif.

Analisa attends Mohave Middle School. Her hobbies include softball, water skiing and snow skiing.

For her mitzvah project, Analisa gathered clothes and stuffed animals for a preschool for homeless children.



Scott Eric Koplan, son of Shari and Marty Koplan of Scottsdale, will become a bar mitzvah June 8, 2002, at Temple Chai.

Grandparents are Ina Jacobson and Jack Koplan, both of Scottsdale; Burton Kozak of Chicago; and the late Shirley Koplan.

Scott attends Desert Canyon Middle School. His hobbies include music and computers.

For his mitzvah project, Scott collected and donated stuffed animals to be given to sick children.



Robyn Alexandra Keith, daughter of Elizabeth and Gordon Keith of Scottsdale, will become a bat mitzvah June 8, 2002, at Temple Chai.

Grandparents are Alison and Maxwell Keith of Atascadero, Calif.; Esther Capin of Tucson; and the late Richard Capin.

Robyn attends Explorer Middle School. Her hobbies include playing the piano, art, reading, drama and making friends.

For her mitzvah project, Robyn volunteered at the Watkins Overflow Shelter and tutored children during an after-school mascot program.



Amanda Lashelle Calkins, daughter of Shira Calkins of Phoenix, will become a bat mitzvah June 8, 2002, at Beth El Congregation.

Grandparents are Leo Katzman of Phoenix; and the late Marion Katzman.

Amanda attends Explorer Middle School. Her hobbies include dancing, art and playing the violin and piano.

For her mitzvah project, Amanda volunteered at Westside Food Bank and Craycroft Nursing Home.



Michael Galen, son of Barbara and Neal Galen of Scottsdale, will become a bar mitzvah June 8, 2002, at Temple Beth Israel.

Grandparents are Bette Jaffe of New York City; Arthur Mishkin of Coconut Creek, Fla.; Bernice Golenberg of Cleveland; and the late Sam Golenberg.



Troy Joseph Shamos, son of Irna and Raymond Shamos of Phoenix, will become a bar mitzvah June 8, 2002, at Temple Chai.

Grandparents are Dora Shamos of Johannesburg, South Africa; John Wolf of Phoenix; the late Tolsa Wolf; and the late Joseph Shamos.

Troy attends Cocopah Middle School. His hobbies include playing the piano, golf and spending time with friends.

For his mitzvah project, Troy volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House.



Aaron Morris Goldstein, son of Anne and Stan Goldstein of Phoenix, will become a bar mitzvah June 8, 2002, at Temple Emanuel.

Grandparents are Abe Goldstein of Los Angeles; Ann Livingston of Pittsburgh; the late Doris Goldstein; and the late James Livingston.

Aaron attends Altadena Middle School.
