David Ellenstein has been named the new artistic director for the Arizona Jewish Theatre Company. Ellenstein has more than 25 years of experience as a director, actor and teacher, including several film and television appearances.

James Kahler, senior vice president of sales and marketing for the Cleveland Cavaliers (National Basketball Association) and the Rockers (Women's National Basketball Association) has been named executive director for the Arizona State University MBA Sports Business program at the ASU College of Business. The program integrates conventional MBA coursework with knowledge and skills specific to the sports industry.

Barnes & Noble, Inc. will open a new store at 1758 S. Val Vista Drive in Dana Park Village Square, Mesa. The 24,500 square foot store will offer books, music, DVDs and magazines, as well as a Starbucks coffee café.
