Justin John Bauer, son of Susan and John Bauer of Scottsdale, will become a bar mitzvah June 1, 2002, at Temple Solel.

Grandparents are June and Harold Berkowitz of Scottsdale.

Justin attends Cocopah Middle School. His hobbies include singing with the Phoenix Boys Choir, golfing and computers.

For his mitzvah project, Justin collected musical instruments to be donated to Crisis Nursery.



Alyson Melissa Sheinson, daughter of Judy and Rick Sheinson of Scottsdale, will become a bat mitzvah June 1, 2002, at Har Zion Congregation.

Grandparents are Selma and Paul Fiel and Frances Perlmutter, all of Scottsdale; Simon Sheinson of Philadelphia; and the late Louis Cohen.

Alyson attends Desert Shadows Middle School. Her hobbies include dancing, shopping and spending time with friends.



Lisa Helen Starkman, daughter of Susan and Ron Starkman of Scottsdale, will become a bat mitzvah June 1, 2002, at Temple Beth Israel.

Grandparents are Ruth and Harry Hotz of Hamilton, Ontario; and the late Helen and Sid Starkman.



Allison Teddi Krause, daughter of Kelly and Jeffrey Krause of Scottsdale, will become a bat mitzvah June 1, 2002, at Temple Beth Israel.

Grandparents are Cha-Lin Yao and Shu-Yuan Yao Tsai of Taipei, Taiwan; and the late Fern and Ted Krause.



Asher Landay, son of Patricia and Mark Landay of Scottsdale, became a bar mitzvah May 25, 2002, at Temple Kol Ami.

Grandparents are Marjorie and Alan Landay of Pittsburgh; and Jan and John Cornforth of North Fort Myers, Fla.
