Rachel attends Aprende Middle School. Her hobbies include choir and the Divine Performing Arts Dance Competition Team.
For her mitzvah project, Rachel joined the National Charity League.
Chelsey Lyn Saperstein, daughter of Cindy and Charles Saperstein of Scottsdale, will become a bat mitzvah May 25, 2002, at Temple Chai.
Grandparents are Maxine Saperstein and Rosalyn and Edward Reiner, all of North Miami Beach, Fla.; and the late Herman Saperstein.
Chelsey attends Cocopah Middle School. Her hobbies include dancing, playing flute, softball and spending time with friends.
For her mitzvah project, Chelsey collected and distributed clothes to needy children.
Evan Matthew White, son of Merri and Roy White of Phoenix, will become a bar mitzvah May 25, 2002, at Temple Chai.

Evan attends Sunrise Middle School. His hobbies include playing baseball, playing the trumpet and spending time outdoors with his family.
For his mitzvah project, Evan worked as an assistant coach for a T-ball team and participated in feeding the homeless at the Watkins Overflow Shelter. He also participated in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life.
Stephanie Lisa Becker, daughter of Barbara and Mathis Becker of Phoenix, will become a bat mitzvah May 25, 2002, at Beth El Congregation.

Stephanie attends The Arizona School for the Arts. Her hobbies include dancing, singing, playing the flute and piano, soccer and spending time with friends and family.
For her mitzvah project, Stephanie volunteered weekly at Homeward Bound, a shelter for homeless women and children and victims of domestic violence. She also collected books and videos for the shelter's library.
Ryan Thomas Fowler, son of Marianne Solsky Fowler of Scottsdale, will become a bar mitzvah May 25, 2002, at Temple Chai.
Grandparents are Margery and Charles Solsky of Shawnee Mission, Kan.
Ryan attends Desert Canyon Middle School. His hobbies include football, basketball and baseball.
For his mitzvah project, Ryan worked with special needs students during track and field events for the Special Olympics.
Russell Louis Hansen, son of Gail and Douglas Hansen of Scottsdale, will become a bar mitzvah May 25, 2002, at Temple Solel.
Grandparents are Sharon and Melvin Schoenwald of Las Vegas.
Great-grandparent is Lottie Herzberg of Las Vegas.
Russell attends Pardes Jewish Day School. His hobbies include playing the clarinet and tennis.
For his mitzvah project, Russell completed a "13 Mitzvot" project.
