Obituaries

Baroukh Marzouk

Baroukh Y. Marzouk of Phoenix died May 14, 2002. He was 83. He was born in Cairo, Egypt, and moved to Arizona from New York in 1960. He was a retired physician, and a member of Temple Beth Israel for 42 years.

Survivors include his wife, Claire; sons, Joseph of Piedmont, Calif., and Tobey of Fairfax, Va.; and five grandchildren.

Services were held at Beth Israel Cemetery, with Rabbi Albert Plotkin officiating. Arrangements were by Sinai Mortuary. Contributions are suggested to American Cancer Society, 2929 E. Thomas Road, Phoenix 85016.



Eve Fry

Eve Rita Fry of Scottsdale died May 12, 2002. She was 60. She was born in London and moved to Arizona from Florida in 1982. She was an administrative assistant for a law firm.

Survivors include her sister, Diana Hader of Scottsdale.

Private services were held. Arrangements were by Sinai Mortuary. Contributions are suggested to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix 85014.



Jean Austin

Jean Austin of Phoenix died May 7, 2002. She was 98. She was born in Peoria, Ill., and moved to Arizona in 1966.

Services were held at Sinai Mortuary Chapel, with Rabbi Albert Plotkin officiating. Arrangements were by Sinai Mortuary. Contributions are suggested to Kivel Care Center, 3020 N. 36th St., Phoenix 85018.



Ralph Ginis

Ralph Ginis, age 68, of Phoenix, passed away Monday, May 13, 2002. He moved to Arizona from Cleveland at the age of 19. He was a member of Beth El Congregation, worked for First Interstate Bank for 39 years and was a past member of the Lions Club.

He is survived by his loving wife Betty; daughters Susan (David) Good and Diane (Mark) Stein; brothers Harvey and Murry Ginis; sister Carol Geiss; and grandchildren Leah, Bailey and Eric Stein, and Nathan and Sam Good. He was preceded in death by his late sister Esther Harris.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, May 14th at Beth El Cemetery in Phoenix. Contributions in his memory are requested to Foundation for Cancer Research and Education. 300 W.
