Rabbi Elliott Kleinman, regional director of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations' Northeast Lakes Council, has been named the UAHC's director of programs. As director, Kleinman will coordinate the work of the departments that create resources and provide counseling to the UAHC's 913 member congregations. He succeeds Rabbi Daniel Freelander.

Rabbi Steven Mills, spiritual leader of Temple B'nai Jeshurun in Des Moines, Iowa, has been named regional director of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations' Northeast Lakes Council. As regional director, Mills will provide technical expertise, resources and counseling to the 67 Reform synagogues affiliated with the UAHC in Ohio, Indiana, Michigan and New York. He will begin his position July 1. He succeeds Rabbi Elliott Kleinman.

Nancy Wolter, community arts coordinator for the city of Mesa, has been promoted to the position of development officer for Mesa's arts and cultural division. As development officer, Wolter will collaborate on development opportunities involving the facilities overseen by the division, including the Mesa Southwest Museum, Arizona Museum for Youth and the Mesa Arts Center.
