Obituaries

Robert Freeman

Robert E. Freeman of Phoenix died April 26, 2002. He was 49. He was born in Phoenix, and was a realtor and musician with several local bands.

Survivors include his fiancée, Martha Morrison of Phoenix; father, William of Scottsdale; and sister, Jane Shephard of Scottsdale.

Services were held at Temple Beth Israel. Arrangements were by Sinai Mortuary. Contributions are suggested to American Cancer Society, 2929 E. Thomas Road, Phoenix 85016.



Lillian Levin

Lillian Levin, age 89, passed away April 29, 2002 in Encino, Calif. She was born in Philadelphia and was a former resident of Phoenix. Survivors include her son Michael (Sylberta) Brodey; son-in-law Bill Levine; sister Helen Boyers; grandchildren Julie (Brad) Schoen, Jonathan (Polly) Levine, David (Deborah Neustadt) Levine, Steven (Fawn) Brodey and Robin (Tony) Linquata; and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her late daughter Ina B. Levine.

Graveside funeral services were held in Beth El Cemetery on May 1st. Contributions in her memory are requested to the Ina B. Levine Jewish Community Center Campus, 32 W. Coolidge Street, #200, Phoenix, AZ 85013. Arrangements by Sinai Mortuary.
