People on the moveSusan David of Mesa, a full-time counselor with the Jewish Family and Children's Service, graduated from the University of Phoenix's Master of Counseling in Community Counseling program on April 14. David was also appointed as a University of Phoenix representative to the Arizona Counseling Association.Local dentist Bruce Bauman will attend the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry's 18th annual Scientific Session in Honolulu May 7-12. Kari Zangerle, a shareholder with the firm of Sanders & Parks, was recently appointed chairwoman of the Banner Health System Institutional Review Board. The IRB is responsible for local research studies conducted at Thunderbird Samaritan Medical Center, Phoenix Children's Hospital and Samaritan Behavioral Health Center-Scottsdale. Joan Squires, president and CEO of The Phoenix Symphony since 1994, has accepted the position of president of the Performing Arts Society in Omaha, Neb. She begins her position in August. Martin Alvarez, president and CEO of Sun Eagle Corporation, has been appointed Arizona State University's first Wells Fargo Honorary Scholar in Hispanic Business, a joint appointment by the College of Business and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. |
