Adrian Russel Braude, son of Collette and Mervyn Braude of Scottsdale, will become a bar mitzvah May 4, 2002, at Temple Solel.

Grandparents are Doris Braude of Scottsdale; the late Aubrey Braude; and the late Evelyn and Michael Shaban.

Adrian attends Pardes Jewish Day School. His hobbies include sports and music.



Allison Lauren Goldstein, daughter of Lisa and David Goldstein of Paradise Valley, will become a bat mitzvah May 4, 2002, at Temple Beth Israel.

Grandparents are Loretta and Bernie Goldstein of Scottsdale; and Ellie and Mel Goldstein of Scottsdale.

Great-grandparents are the late Eva and Hyman Goldstein; the late Miriam Weinberg; the late Ely Berman; and the late Helen and Paul Meltcer.



Lauren Sylvia Piwnica, daughter of Debra and Victor Piwnica of Scottsdale, will become a bat mitzvah May 4, 2002, at Temple Chai.

Grandparents are Merle and Sherwin Willens of Scottsdale; and Sofia and Armand Piwnica of Skokie, Ill.

Lauren attends Sunrise Middle School.

For her mitzvah project, Lauren collected donations such as clothing, school supplies and toiletries, for the Thomas J. Pappas School.



Roman Stedman, son of Deborah and Eliot Stedman of Mesa, will become a bar mitzvah on May 4, 2002, at Temple Emanuel of Tempe.

Grandparent is Margaret Price of Tucson.

Roman attends Tempe Preparatory Academy. His hobbies include baseball, skateboarding and creating animation.

For his mitzvah project, Roman collected food and clothing for various organizations.
