Alexander Jordan Sandweiss, son of Kathi and David Sandweiss of Paradise Valley, will become a bar mitzvah April 13, 2002, at Temple Chai.

Grandparents are Jan and Edward Hyman of Los Angeles; Florence Sandweiss Goode of Bloomfield Hills, Mich.; Bertrand Sandweiss of Detroit; and the late Conrad Goode.

Great-grandparents are the late Martha and Morris Bernstein; the late Eva and Ben Hyman; the late Bernice and Abraham Tukel; and the late Sadie and Norman Sandweiss.

Alexander attends Explorer Middle School. His hobbies are playing the piano, drums, hockey, computers and engineering.

For his mitzvah project, Alexander played the piano for nursing home residents.



Shaina Blair Bohn, daughter of Sandra and Jeffrey Bohn of Tempe, will become a bat mitzvah April 13, 2002, at Temple Emanuel.

Grandparents are Sheila and Robert Shapiro of Scottsdale; and Rosemarie and John Bohn of Bettendorf, Iowa.

Shaina attends Aprende Middle School.



Kevin Michael Greenhill, son of Linda and Andy Fox of Phoenix and Corey Greenhill of Glendale, will become a bar mitzvah April 13, 2002, at Temple Chai.

Grandparents are Doris Bronstein of Sun City; the late Martin Bronstein; Ivy Greenhill of Olivenhain, Calif.; and the late Jerry Greenhill.

Great-grandparents are the late Celia and Mac Bogard.

Kevin attends Explorer Middle School. His hobbies are basketball, football and computers.

For his mitzvah project, Kevin helped serve dinner at the Ronald McDonald House.



Benjamin Eli Mizel, son of Lynn Mizel and Michael Mizel, both of Scottsdale, will become a bar mitzvah April 13, 2002, at Temple Solel.

Grandparents are Selma Mizel of Scottsdale; the late Edmund Mizel; Meyer Cohen of Scottsdale; and the late Sylvia Cohen.

Benjamin attends Cocopah Middle School. His hobbies are soccer, baseball and reading.



Jarrett Corey Tomback, son of Nancy and Jay Tomback of Scottsdale, will become a bar mitzvah April 13, 2002, at Temple Chai.

Grandparents are Marilyn and Seymour Tomback of Scottsdale; and Lillian and Howard Corey of Skokie, Ill.

Jarrett attends Desert Shadows Middle School. His hobbies are dance, music and sports.

For his mitzvah project, Jarrett volunteered for Habitat for Humanity and helped feed the homeless at the Watkins Overflow Shelter.



Sasha Solomonov, daughter of Lyudmila and Nikolay Solomonov of Phoenix, will become a bat mitzvah April 13, 2002, at Temple Beth Israel.

Grandparents are Mayya Epshteyn and Anna Solomonov, both of Phoenix; the late Boris Epshteyn; and the late Aleksande Solomonov.

Sasha attends Explorer Middle School.

Her hobbies are acting and basketball.
