Israel Independence Day to be celebrated

Yom Ha'Atzmaut, Israel's Independence Day, will be celebrated 3:30-7 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, at McCormick Railroad Park, 7301 E. Indian Bend Road, Scottsdale.

The event, sponsored by the Israel Center of the Jewish Federation of Greater Phoenix, will feature activities for the entire family, including an obstacle course, a petting zoo, carnival booths, Israeli dancing, bingo and Israeli food. There will also be a raffle, with prizes including a free AZ Cool teen trip to Israel.
