Lindbergh is the author of "No More Words," an account of the last year of her mother's life. Alexander uses three famous Jewish Americans and the historic events to which their names are associated in his book "Jazz Age Jews." These jazz-age heroes are Felix Frankfurter and his defense of anarchists Sacco and Vanzetti; Arnold Rothstein and the fixing of the World Series; and Al Jolson's adoption of black face and his performance in the Jazz Singer. Scottoline's eighth novel, "The Vendetta Defense" takes readers on a ride through the criminal courts of Philadelphia and deals with the power of love, the lure of home and the definition of justice. Berg's most recent publication is "Ordinary Life," a collection of 15 short stories that illustrate the seemingly mundane, insignificant moments in women's lives that create a sense of wholeness, coherence and understanding. Webb, who will also serve as moderator, will discuss her book "Desert Noir," set against the backdrop of the posh Scottsdale art scene and the nearby Indian reservations. The event will begin with registration, book sales and signings and a silent auction. Lunch will be served at noon.
