Steven Adelman

Tami Schultz and Steven Adelman, both of Bethesda, Md., announce their engagement.

Parents of the couple are Susan and Lawrence Schultz of Baltimore; and Sandra and Arthur Adelman of Armonk, N.Y.

The bride-to-be received a bachelor's degree in political science and public relations from Towson State University in Baltimore. She is the director of congressional relations at USA Funds in Washington, D.C.

The groom-to-be received a bachelor's degree in American studies from Tufts University and a master's degree in history from the University of Massachusetts. He also earned a law degree from Boston College Law School and is an attorney with Shulman, Rogers, Gandal, Pordy & Ecker in Rockville, Md.

An April 13, 2002, wedding is planned in Baltimore.

Toby Elana Amir and Daniel Eric Fox, both of Indianapolis, announce their engagement.

Parents of the couple are Marsha and Tali Amir of Phoenix; and Linda and William Fox of Fort Wayne, Ind.

The bride-to-be earned a bachelor's degree in religious studies from De Pauw University and is working on a master's degree in public affairs and nonprofit management at Indiana University and Purdue University. She is a program coordinator for the Bureau of Jewish Education.

The groom-to-be earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Indiana University and a master's degree in psychology from Ball State University, and is completing his master's degree in social work at Indiana University and Purdue University. He is a psychometrist for Pribble and Associates.

A Nov. 10, 2002, wedding is planned in Phoenix.
