Amy B. Eisenhut has been hired as director of the Chai Childhood Center of Temple Chai. Her education includes an undergraduate degree from Ithaca College, as well as child development accreditation.

RoxSand Scocos, owner of RoxSand Restaurant and an award-winning chef, will be the honorary chairwoman of Wine, Women and Song, an event to benefit The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society-Desert Mountain States Chapter. Kristy Riding Moore, recipient of the Heart of Business Award and owner of Continental Catering, will be featured with jazz vocalist Blaise Lantana, entertainment chairwoman of the event. The benefit will be held 4-7 p.m. Sunday, May 5, at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, 2401 E. Camelback Road, Phoenix.

Kimberly Koehly has been named director of sales and marketing at Western Golf Properties. Koehly will be responsible for all sales and marketing activities within the company, including implementing sales strategies and a role in the design and delivery of online customer service systems.

Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain has partnered with Erno Laszlo to develop an exclusive line of skincare products for the resort and The Sanctuary Spa. The Erno Laszlo line includes bath salts, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion and cleansing bars.

Diane Bortz has been named store manager of Niessing, a jewelry store located in Scottsdale Fashion Square. Niessing is a German-based jewelry manufacturer that produces contemporary jewelry. The Scottsdale store is the first U.S. concept store for the company.

Carroll Klein has been named executive director of Greater Phoenix Youth at Risk, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering positive experiences for youth in the Valley. Klein will run the organization's campaign to raise funds and recruit volunteers.

Clint Nicholas of Phoenix has been offered a three-year contract with Wilhelmina Creative Management. Nicholas was discovered at a recent model search conducted by Models Plus International and The Young Agency of Phoenix.

National Family Caregiver Association has been given a grant to enhance the ability of family caregivers to work with health-care professionals. Lois von Halle and Bonnie Danowski, Arizona state coordinators for the NFCA Caregiver Network, will attend the NFCA Train the Trainer Conference in Washington, D.C., this month.

Howard Weiss has rejoined Synergy, a promotional products distributor, as director of marketing after a three-year absence from the company. His responsibilities will include furthering the Synergy brand name, opening new business opportunities and helping sales partners with marketing efforts.

Nora Perlmutter was elected as a member at large on the National Board of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations during the UAHC Biennial Shabbat morning service recently held at Temple Chai. Perlmutter is currently a vice president on the executive committee of the Pacific Southwest Regional Board, where she serves as chairwoman of the liaison committee. Also at the UAHC Biennial service, Sharona Silverman, Ava Keenen, Nora Perlmutter and Harriet Rosen were invited to be workshop leaders.
