Rachael Anne Belkind, daughter of Jan and Arthur Belkind of Phoenix, will become a bat mitzvah March 9, 2002, at Temple Solel.

Grandparents are Anna Knussman of Trivoli, Ill.; Barney Belkind of Rego Park, N.Y.; the late Bertha Belkind; and the late Marvin Ellingworth.



Samuel Evan Vill, son of Karen and David Vill of Cave Creek, will become a bar mitzvah March 9, 2002, at Temple Chai.

Grandparents are Sidney Rothman of Mount Laurel, N.J.; Roberta and Bart Goldsmith of Boca Raton, Fla.; and the late Rose Rothman.

Great-grandparents are Rose Feiner of Miami; and the late Samuel Vill.

Samuel attends Foothills Academy. His hobbies are acting and golfing.

For his mitzvah project, Samuel volunteered to sell raffle tickets for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Phoenix.



Sarah Ashley Rice, daughter of Jill and David Rice of Tempe, will become a bat mitzvah March 9, 2002, at Temple Emanuel.

Grandparents are Adelle Stone and Buddy Galvin of Hollywood, Fla.; Sallie Rice of Mesa; the late Charlie Rice; and the late Fred Stone.

Sarah attends Fees Middle School. Her hobbies include golf, playing the viola, art and sports.



Sara Elizabeth Rosenzweig, daughter of Kathy and Burke Rosenzweig of Phoenix, will become a bat mitzvah March 9, 2002, at Temple Beth Israel.

Grandparents are Margaret Jacobson of Phoenix; the late Harry Rosenzweig; the late Rita Hahn; and the late Robert Hahn.
