Mistake to close Israel Bonds

Editor:
Closing the local Israel Bonds office - eliminating a local presence and ending the important work that Tina Sheinbein and others have done to promote investment in Israel - is destructive. (Jewish News, Feb. 15) Other ways should have been found to economize. Bonds support the Israeli economy. Shutting down the local Israel Bonds office is counterproductive.
