Brooke Silverstein of Scottsdale and Scott Grebstein of Dix Hills, N.Y., announce their engagement.

Parents of the couple are Wylie and William Silverstein of Scottsdale; and Ellen and Lee Grebstein of Dix Hills.

The bride-to-be earned a bachelor's degree from Brandeis University and is a first-year student at the University of Arizona Law School.

The groom-to-be earned a bachelor's degree from Brandeis University and is a second-year student at the University of Arizona Law School.

A May 26, 2002, wedding is planned at the Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix.



David Glassman
Sammy Lazarus

Sammy Lazarus and David Glassman, both of Phoenix, announce their engagement.

Parents of the couple are Marlys and Larry Lazarus of Paradise Valley; and Marsha and Daniel Glassman of Phoenix.

The bride-to-be received a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Arizona and a master's degree in social work from Arizona State University. She is director of program and community development at New Life Center.

The groom-to-be received a bachelor's degree in molecular cellular biology from the University of Arizona and became a doctor of osteopathic medicine at Midwestern University.

A June 2, 2002, wedding is planned at Beth El Congregation.
