People on the moveSherry Siegel has been named marketing manager of the Jewish News of Greater Phoenix. Siegel was formerly the manager of Incredible Classifieds and has been with Jewish News for three years.Temple Chai introduced the 2002 officers at the December Board of Directors meeting. Officers include: Karen Goodman, president; Mario Masliah, vice president of finance; Alvin Perelman, vice president of facility; Hope Bressman, vice president of social action; Louis Hoffman, vice president of education; Isy Sonabend, vice president of administration; Marilyn Starrett, vice president of general programming. New board members include Selma Kreitman, Janice Dinner, Gil Rudolph and Randi Sherman. Returning board members are Barry Singer, Elaine Rosenthal, Jules Rossman, Jonathan Leighton, Paul Blum, Craig Maron and Francine Sumner. Claudia Foutz, executive director of the Arizona Board of Medical Examiners, was presented with the Council on Licensure, Enforcement and Regulation's (CLEAR) 2001 Member Achievement Award. The award, given Jan 12 at the CLEAR Annual Meeting in San Antonio, recognizes an individual CLEAR member who has made an outstanding contribution enhancing occupational and professional regulation. Linda and Steve Day of Chandler, founders of Families Protecting Children, have recently been named Registered Agents for Child Shield, USA, a national organization dedicated to the safety of America's children. Chef Eddie Matney of Phoenix will represent Arizona at the "Taste of the NFL" fund-raising event in New Orleans, host of Super Bowl XXVI. Matney will serve horseradish mashed potato stuffed shrimp with a cactus pear dipping sauce. |
