Hillel events

Hillel Jewish Student Center of Arizona State University will hold a variety of events in January for members, prospective members and students. Events include:
  • "Bagels and Baruchu" - Torah study with Michael Cohen, noon Saturday, Jan. 19, at Hillel, 1012 S. Mill Ave., Tempe.
  • A welcome-back barbecue, 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, at Kiwanis Park, 6111 S. All-American Way, Tempe. Cost is $3.
  • Havdalah and Tu B'Shevat Seder with Michael Cohen, 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at Hillel. Cost is $5.
  • Planting a tree on Forest Mall, 12:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28, at ASU Main Campus, Tempe. Free event.
