Lion of Judah eventThe Women's Department of the Jewish Federation of Greater Phoenix is sponsoring the Lion of Judah fund-raising luncheon, 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, at the home of Sandy Belfer, 6019 E. Indian Bend Road, Scottsdale. Lions of Judah is comprised of women who contribute a minimum of $5,000 to federation's annual women's campaign.Rabbi David Saperstein, director and counsel of the Religious Action Center in Washington, D.C., the political arm of the Reform Jewish movement, will speak about "Jewish Values in a Time of Crisis."
