Synagogues unite in song

"Valley Congregations United in Song II: Peter and Bethany Yarrow in Concert" will be held 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21, at Scottsdale Center for the Arts, 7380 E. Second St.

Peter Yarrow is formerly of the musical trio Peter, Paul & Mary.

The concert is sponsored by Beth El Congregation, Har Zion Congregation, Temple Beth Israel, Temple Chai, Temple Emanuel, Temple Kol Ami and Temple Solel, under the direction of the Arizona Association of Jewish Executive Directors and Administrators (AAJEDA).

This is the second year AAJEDA has planned a community concert; last year's sold-out concert featured Debbie Friedman.

Tickets are $25 and $36. Patron tickets are $54 and include a gala dessert reception after the concert.

Jewish News of Greater Phoenix is a media sponsor.

Call 602-944-3359 or one of the participating synagogues.
