Symphony members play for Brandeis group

Phoenix Symphony Principal Cello Richard Bock and Pianist Joel Levin will talk about their musical lives and perform several works at a program sponsored by the Brandeis Music Study Group 1-2:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, at Palo Cristi Church, 3535 E. Lincoln Drive, Paradise Valley.

Bock has been with The Phoenix Symphony since 1984, and his recordings include "Mosaic," a collection of Yiddish songs and music of the royal courts of Europe.

Cost is free to registered members of the music study group, $3 for members of the Brandeis University National Women's Committee and $5 for nonmembers. Call Roz Fischer, 602-971-8004.
