Holiday storytelling

"Winter's Light: Stories of Christmas/ Hanukkah/ Ramadan/ Kwanza/ Solstice by Candlelight," a multicultural, interfaith storytelling event for the holidays, is at 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16, at Community Christian Church, 1701 W. College, Tempe.

Storytellers include Wendy Miller, who will tell a Jewish folktale and light the menorah in honor of Hanukkah.

The program is geared toward adults and children over age 10.

Cost is $5. Proceeds benefit the Reconciliation Fund that sponsors programs to fight racism.
