Jonathan Daniel Gelbart, son of Debra and Steven Gelbart of Phoenix, will become a bar mitzvah Dec. 1, 2001, at Beth El Congregation. Grandparents are Beryl and Ira Morton of Phoenix; and Elaine and David Gelbart of Las Vegas. Great-grandparents are Anne Schubert of Phoenix; and the late Robert Schubert.

Tammy J. Schwartz, daughter of Judy and Steve Schwartz of Scottsdale, will become a bat mitzvah Dec. 1, 2001, at Temple Chai. Grandparents are June and Earl Schwartz and Marian and Edgar Ansten, all of Scottsdale.

Aaron Cole Hechtman, son of Mary and Mark Hechtman of Scottsdale, will become a bar mitzvah Dec. 1, 2001, at Temple Chai. Grandparents are Diane and Dan Hechtman of Scottsdale.

Zachary Blinder, son of Janet and Martin Blinder of Paradise Valley, will become a bar mitzvah Dec. 1, 2001, at Temple Beth Israel. Grandparents are Joe Weiss of Los Angeles; Meyer Blinder of Scottsdale; the late Margaret Weiss; and the late Lillian Blinder.
