Sun Lakes congregation grows, moves into new location

The congregation of Temple Havurat Emet has outgrown available space in Sun Lakes' clubhouses and will move to a permanent location. Beginning 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, Shabbat services will be held in the All Faiths Church of Sun Lakes, 9220 E. Fairway Blvd. On that evening, the Oneg Shabbat will be sponsored by Copper State Post 619 of the Jewish War Veterans to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Pearl Harbor. The temple will hold Shabbat services on the first Friday of every month.

Membership is $36. Call 480-802-0815.
