Museum seeks AZ mothersThe Sylvia Plotkin Judaica Museum is accepting applications for the Arizona component of its exhibit "Jewish Mothers: Strength, Wisdom, Compassion," which opens Jan. 13.The exhibit includes documents and photographs that celebrate modern Jewish mothers, their accomplishments, religious and family heritage, values, challenges and triumphs. Send name, address and telephone number of nominee and nominator to: Sylvia Plotkin Judaica Museum, 10460 N. 56th St., Scottsdale 85253. Include a description of the living Arizona Jewish mother's contributions to her family and to her Jewish and/or secular community. Nominations are due by Dec. 10. |
