The bride-to-be earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of California Los Angeles and is an associate manager in the marketing department of the Gap corporation.
The groom-to-be earned a bachelor's degree from the University of California Los Angeles and a master's degree from the Haas School of Business at the University of California Berkeley. He is a cofounder of Rent Net.
A summer 2002 wedding is planned.

The bride-to-be has earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education from the University of Hartford and a master's degree in educational leadership from Northern Arizona University. She is employed as a teacher for the Washington Elementary school district.
The groom-to-be earned a bachelor's degree in communication and is a registered representative for Vanguard.
