The Hillel Jewish Student Center at Arizona State University announces new staff members, including Nanci Wilharber, who is beginning her second semester as part-time program associate; Michelle Frankford, who participated in Hillel programming at Ohio Sate University and now is employed with the ASU Hillel; and Michielle Fenton, a part-time program associate in her second year with Hillel.

The Jewish Theological Seminary will honor Abby Joseph Cohen and Paul Miller with the Louis Marshall Award on Oct. 17. Cohen is the chairwoman of the investment policy committee at Goldman, Sachs & Co., Miller is the executive vice president and general counsel of Pfizer. The award honors those who demonstrate a concern for social justice and qualities of ethics and communal service.

C.J. Ward has joined the KNXV-TV News 15 team as an investigative reporter.

Lori Shapiro has been appointed catering director of Lewis Steven's distinctive catering. Shapiro was previously the catering manager at the Scottsdale Hilton Resort.

Cornelis Hollander, owner of Cornelis Hollander Designs, will open a new store, Cornelis Hollander at the Summit, 32607 N. Scottsdale Road, Suite E, on Nov. 1, 2001.
