Synagogues to celebrate SukkotValley synagogues will celebrate Sukkot, beginning the evening of Oct. 1, with tours, games, food and arts and crafts.A "Sukkah-Hopping Tour" will be held by Chabad of the East Valley 11 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, beginning at the Chabad Hebrew School, 6185 W. Detroit St., Chandler. Participants will visit five sukkot around the East Valley to see and celebrate the customs and traditions represented by the sukkah. Kosher food, sand art, and the opportunity to make a Simchat Torah flag will also be offered. Call 480-753-5366. Chabad-Lubavitch of Phoenix will also offer a sukkah tour 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, beginning at the Arizona Chabad Center, 2110 E. Lincoln Drive, Phoenix.
