People on the moveDenise Dreiseszun Resnik, president of Denise Resnik & Associates, Inc., will be presented the World of Well-Being award at the 2001 Girl Scout Awards ceremony on Sept. 23. Other award recipients are Karen Mulsac-Frye, Duffy McMahon, Cheryl Walsh, Sherry Hutt and Marsha Porter. The awards are presented to women who exemplify the Girl Scout Promise and Law in their personal lives and who meaningfully contribute to the betterment of their community.Gail Schmeling has been named business manager at ABC 15. Schmeling brings more than 18 years of experience to the position, including resident controller at KTAR/KKLT/KMVP radio, and business manager at KOOL AM/FM radio. Terry Granger has been appointed executive director of Immanuel Campus of Care in Phoenix. Granger has more than 20 years of experience in health care administration and marketing seniors' housing. Philanthropists Newton Becker, Edgar Bronfman, Lynn Schusterman and Michael Steinhardt committed $1 million to B'nai B'rith Youth Organization to enable it to transition from a B'nai B'rith agency to an autonomous international organization. The donation was made at BBYO's 2001 International Convention last July. |
