Planning rallies against hateIn recognition of Governor Jane Hull's declaration of Aug. 12 as "Not in Our State" Day, rallies will be held 3 p.m. Sunday Aug. 12 at Mohave County Court House, 401 Spring St., Kingman; and Highland High School, 4301 E. Guadalupe Road, Gilbert.The "Not in Our State" rallies - sponsored by the National Conference for Community and Justice, the American Jewish Committee, the Anti-Defamation League and local community groups - is in response to the announcement by Dennis Mahon, White Aryan Resistance leader, to relocate WAR's headquarters to Kingman. The rallies are the kick-off of the effort to educate and involve the community. |
