Obituaries

Sheldon Goodfarb

Sheldon L. Goodfarb of Phoenix died July 16, 2001. He was 66. He was born in New York City. He was a computer consultant and served in the U.S. National Guard during the Korean War. He was a member of the Masons and was the recipient of the Silver Beaver, the highest award obtainable by a volunteer for the Boy Scouts.

Survivors include his daughter, Cheri Adelson of Paradise Valley; son, Mark of Tempe; and brothers, Jay and Stanley, both of Phoenix.

Services were held at Beth Israel Cemetery. Arrangements were by Sinai Mortuary. Contributions are suggested to American Heart Association, 2929 S. 48th St., Tempe 85282; or Boy Scouts of America, 2969 N. Greenfield Road, Phoenix 85016.



Leah Naidorf

Leah Rose Naidorf of Sun City died July 16, 2001. She was 81. She was born in Chicago and moved to Arizona in 1992 from Missouri. She was the co-owner of Naidorf Grocery Center. She was a member of Tip Top Dancers of Sun City, Sisterhood of Temple Beth Shalom of the Northwest Valley, B'nai B'rith Women, Hadassah and Sisterhood of Temple B'nai Sholem in Missouri.

Services were held at Sunland Memorial Park. Arrangements were by Sunland Mortuary. Contributions are suggested to Temple Beth Shalom of the Northwest Valley, 12202 N. 101st Ave., Sun City 85351.
