Klezmer, Yiddish songs

The Wandering Jews will perform "Jewish Soul Music" 7 p.m. Thursday, July 26, in the Grace & Horace Goldsmith Sanctuary at Temple Beth Israel, 10460 N. 56th St., Scottsdale.

The Wandering Jews are a group of six musicians from Yale University, Brown University, Wesleyan and University of Vermont who travel around the United States and Canada. They play traditional klezmer favorites and Yiddish songs.

Admission is $5, with no charge for school-age children.

A picnic dinner will take place at 6 p.m. Bring dinner; the synagogue will provide drinks and dessert.
