'Israel Unity' event plannedAn Israel Unity Gathering sponsored by the Jewish Federation of Greater Phoenix and the Jewish Community Relations Council is scheduled for Wednesday, June 20, at Temple Beth Israel, 10460 N. 56th St., Scottsdale.The event follows the JCRC's 7 p.m. annual meeting. The featured speaker will be Yuval Rotem, Israeli Consul General. Community rabbis will participate in a candle lighting ceremony and the recitation of prayers, poems and psalms.
