Asia Pacific Traders, a wholesale supplier of baskets, food products and promotional products for the gift basket and hospitality industry, has been awarded a contract to supply Disneyland with promotional food products. The Phoenix-based firm will supply Frontier Land with specially branded salsa and food products.

COMPAS' black tie dinner and auction, held May 19 at the Phoenician, raised more than $450,000 to support the cultural community. Pearle Marr, chair of the black tie fete, currently serves on the boards of COMPAS, the Arizona Film Commission, the Arizona Science Center, the Regional Board of the Anti-Defamation League and Israel Bonds. COMPAS, the largest private fund-raising organization for the cultural community in the Valley, has contributed more than $8 million to various organizations since 1967.

Grand Canyon B'nai B'rith conducted its installation of officers and board of directors for the 2001-2002 term of office May 6 at the Marriott Mountain Shadows Resort, Scottsdale. New officers are Al Rubinow, president; David Schacter, executive vice president; Jackie Beigler, vice president membership; Kal Sarlat, financial secretary; Renee Maltz, vice president social; Robert Fischer, vice president programming; Sam Mazor, treasurer; Thelma Smith, recording secretary; Siegfried Marx, corresponding secretary; Robert Fischer, guardian; and Herb Bregman, warden. Trustees are Leo Beckerman, Lawrence Greene, and Sid Siegel. Chaplain is Rena Mazor. The board of directors are Maxine Baker, Charlene Bregman, Gerald Ecker, Barry and Florence Eglin, Allyne Lustig, Jim Pomush, Harriet Schacter, Libbie Scherr, Elliot Schulman, Norman Shucart, and Clare Strauss. The board of directors ex-officio are Ben Berky, Leo Beckerman, Herbert Bragman, Robert Fischer, Gerald Fried, Ron Grantz, Hy Kravets, Sherman Leibovitz, Rena Mazor, Maurice Roth, Al Rubinow, David Schacter, Sidney Siegel, and Howard Trau, Jr.

Lise C. Walker will be joining Victor J. Zannis in practice at the Breast Care Center of the Southwest in Phoenix. Walker graduated from the Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia in 1982 and is certified by the American Board of Surgery; a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons; a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons and the American Society of Breast Disease Specialists. Walker will begin accepting appointments in July.
