'Lost in Yonkers'

Neil Simon's "Lost in Yonkers," presented by The Algonquin Theater Company, will be performed May 11-27 in the Theater Works theater, 9850 W. Peoria Ave., Peoria.

Winner of both the Pulitzer Prize and the Tony Award for best drama, this comic-drama is set in Yonkers, N.Y., in 1942. While World War II rages in Europe, two boys, ages 13 and 16, must spend one year with their demanding grandmother. The boys are challenged and learn the essentials of life through their relationships with their father, uncle and aunts, who are all peculiar characters.

Show times are 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays.

Tickets are $13; $11 for seniors and students.

Call 623-815-7930.
