Obituaries

Archie Schneer

Archie Schneer of Phoenix died April 22, 2001. He was 88. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and was a retired apparel salesman.

Survivors include his daughter Loey Gail Howard of Phoenix; son, George of Los Gatos, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Sinai Mortuary Chapel. Arrangements were by Sinai Mortuary. Contributions are suggested to Animal Welfare League, 15 N. 40th Place, Phoenix 85034.



Elois Feldman

Elois Feldman, nee Felsenthal, 77, of Tucson, Arizona. Former resident of Phoenix, Arizona and Chicago, Illinois, her birthplace. She is survived by her loving and beloved husband of 54 years, Bert, her adoring children who she raised with love and dedication, Janis (Mark) Jenks of Tucson, Arizona and Bob (Lois) Feldman of Hilton Head, South Carolina. Very proud grandmother of Jamie, Cory, Jason, Chris and Stacy as well as six great-grandchildren. She served in the US Navy during World War II and was a tireless volunteer charity worker. A dear, caring and devoted friend to all whose lives she touched. Final arrangements were private, with immediate family. Donations to TMC Hospice, 5301 E. Grand, Tucson, AZ 85712 or at the discretion of donors, with grateful appreciation of her family.
