People on the moveJeff Berlinsky has recently joined the Jewish News sales staff. Berlinsky previously attended the University of Arizona and worked in sales and management in Seattle. He moved to the Valley last year and worked as a Scottsdale police officer.Dr. Jean Angelchik and Simon Eisenberg have been elected to the board of directors of the Jewish National Fund in Phoenix. Elaine Hirsch, director of the Bureau of Jewish Education of Greater Phoenix's Florence Melton Adult Mini-School, was presented with a Distinguished Coordinators Award at the seventh International Florence Melton Adult Mini-School Conference held Feb. 11-14 in Deerfield Beach, Fla. The Florence Melton Adult Mini-School, a project of The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, is an international network of schools for adult Jewish literacy. The Jewish Community Center Association of North America has appointed new professional staff members. They include Steve Becker as the continental consultant on health, physical education and recreation; Joy Brand as associate director of Professional Development; Federica K. Clementi as communications manager and editor of the JCC Circle magazine; Mitchell Jaffe as director of Training Services; and Charlene R. Wendell as the consultant on Camping and Children's Services. Roger N. Morris, a partner in the Quarles & Brady Streich Lang Health Care Practice Group in Phoenix and a registered pharmacist, has been elected president-elect of the American Society of Pharmacy Law (ASPL). Morris will serve a one-year term as president-elect and then become the organization's president beginning March 16, 2002. Robin Bramman has joined Ocean Integrated Media as director of Strategic and Operational Development and will play a key role in the development and execution of the company's business strategies. Sotiri Panos has opened a new Italian restaurant, Sotiri's Ristorante, on the southwest corner of 32nd Street and Lincoln Drive, Phoenix.
