Cynthia A. Zwick has been hired as executive director of the State Bar and the Arizona Bar Foundation.

Nancy Campbell has joined IBT Financial, Inc. as chief executive officer.

Lorraine E. Park has been appointed director of The Golden Door Spa at The Boulders, which is slated to open in September 2001 in Carefree.

Soroptimist International of the San Tans held an awards luncheon to honor the accomplishments of local women. Carole Allen Weishaar received the Women Helping Women Award; Nancy Marlon received the Advancing the Status of Women Award; Louraine Arkfeld received the Woman of Distinction Award; Paola Minharo received the Violet Richardson Award; and Elma Angle and Cheryl Suson received the Woman's Opportunity Award.

Janet Weigel, a representative for Weekenders USA, was elected as president of the East Valley Chapter of Entrepreneurial Mothers Association (EMA).
